What’s your biggest accomplishment? My biggest accomplishment thus far would be starting my own business. I have experienced so many setbacks, difficulties and disappointments these past few years in every area of my life. So watching my business grow from conception to birth has been the most amazing feeling.

What’s your advice to someone interested in starting their own business? Just Do It! Don’t let fear, lack of resources, lack of finances, a small network or even inexperience be the reason why you don’t step out on faith and take a chance. Be careful with whom you share your ideas while they are in their planning stages. Sometimes people will unknowingly dilute your dreams with their negativity and their doubt.
Where do you receive inspiration? I receive inspiration from everything around me. I’m inspired by art, music, architecture, nature, travels and even décor. But what I’m most inspired by are people.

Do you feel your life is balanced between work life and personal life? What is your favorite thing about running your own business? Right now I do feel as if have a balance between both my work and personal life, but there are times when there seems to not be a balance. I definitely strive and work hard to find and maintain that balance between both worlds. My favorite thing about running my own business is the flexibility. The freedom to move as you please is both rewarding and extremely liberating.

Favorite item in your closet? My favorite item in my closet would be my old faithful baseball cap. I throw it own whenever I’m out running errands, just hanging out and even when I’m having a bad hair day. It never fails me!
