SEO is constantly changing, and many of the tools used for SEO are revolving. See my article about Google’s Keyword Planner. If you find yourself sinking in a mess of SEO gadgets, go by this motto: Simplify, Simplify, Simplify. You don’t need a million tools to bring your site to the top, you need the right tools. However, it’s hard to figure out what the right tools are, so let’s catch up. It’s been a while since I talked SEO tools with you. Here is a list of 10 new SEO tools for Fall. What do you think? Have you tried any of these for your business? We would love to know!
1. Find out the lineage of links; their origin, their timeline and who’s using them. You can watch as multiple links are built on a common theme, and fit yourself into the mix. This website is called Delicious–appropriately named.
2. This is too awesome, I have to quote it, “Faveous collects your favorites from Twitter, Google Reader Youtube & Facebook “likes on links” in one single place. Easy to curate, easy to manage. Gathering your favorite content is now fast and painless.” Try Faveous and find out what you and your friends are interested in! (SEO is all about knowing what people want–maybe, even before they do).
Search Engine Optimization Toolkit
3. IIS SEO Toolkit is a microsoft supported download that can help you find everything that’s wrong with your site’s SEO and it’s relatively easy to use. If you know what you’re looking for, you can find out if your links are broken, if you have effective keywords and titles, and if spiders are tracking you effectively.
4. Majestic SEO is a backlink and keyword checker that will be your business’ lifesaver. It’s so easy to use, and it checks to make sure you are using your keywords organically. Try it out as a quick way to double check the ethics of your site.
I hope these have been helpful for your site. I would recommend only trying them out after you have read my other posts about appropriate SEO techniques. Which link worked best for you? Leave us some commently-SEO-Love!
