So with the time away from the fashion blogging scene, I realized that I needed to be in total control of my creative side. Since art has always been a major factor in my life, I knew that I wanted to do my art to some degree. I just had no clue that I’d being putting my artwork on nails.

What’s your advice to someone interested in starting their own business? Come up with an solid idea & STICK to it no matter what! Take time to plan out the details, & budget…budget..BUDGET! Planning is everything! Especially financially! When I decided to start working on nails full-time, I had no idea that I my supplies & overhead would such a serious issue. I guess that when you love doing something, sacrifices have to be made at some point.
Where do you receive inspiration? From the man upstairs!
If you could have one famous entrepreneur as your mentor who would it be? Since I work on nails, I would have to choose Sophy Robson. She definitely is an inspiration to what it is that I do on an everyday basis.
Do you feel your life is balanced between work life + personal life? No, not all of the time! I guess when your seriously focused, there are times where your work becomes everything. So I will fully admit that I am not balanced as of yet, but I see that light at the end of the tunnel.

A little back story on how I met Tee: I came across her old blog, which was called Trash Bag Aesthetics. I LOVED the blog and started commenting on it, and I frequently emailed her. We became friends from all this internet exchange. We primarily talked about our favorite TV show at the time, Ugly Betty and how it effected the blog community.
