eCommerce Website Template Designs

Two weeks ago we started a new series regarding website design. I introduced you to TemplateMonster.com and what they offer for the small business owners. Today, we are going to continue with this series by breaking down the 5 commerce website templates to use with these companies: Drupla, Magento, Joomla, Wix and PrestaShop.

We already shared several WordPress designs that you can implement for your business. I wanted to focus on several other companies that don’t get as much attention when it comes to website design. ICB Consults launched on Wix.com and I am very familiar with the templates they have to offer.

Drupal and Joomla are two very popular companies when it comes to third-party shopping cart businesses.

Templates for Drupal

Drupal does service industry website design amazingly. They are one of the third-party eCommerce sites that are very popular for people when they are starting out.

Templates for Magento

In my personal opinion, Magento is for the “big boys” when it comes to website design. If you are selling tens of thousands of merchandise it’s the perfect platform for you. Their backend can be very intense when you are just starting out. The Men’s Fashion template is a really beautiful design.

Templates for Joomla

Joomla is a company that is very familiar in the website design industry. They have a large selection of terrific designs for various industries. Joomla does beauty sector website design templates really well.

Templates for Wix

Wix websites are very good for the person wanting to show off their artwork, music or a service based business.

Templates for PrestaShop

PrestaShop Template eCommerce Designs

PrestaShop has a plethora of clean designs which really appeal to my eye. It is important to think with an eye of a customer when deciding how your site will look. You want to direct them with calls to actions and having a well-developed site layout can do that..

These are all my personal picks for the various platforms. A majority of the templates start off at $45+ and they are responsive themes. Simplicity goes a long way when it comes to design. So many people want all the bells and whistle, flash and Beyonce on their website. That can distract the customer.

Are you using any of these platforms for company? What are your thoughts when it comes to website design? Is there something you can do today to help your website be more appealing to your customers?
