5 Amazing Podcast For The Entrepreneur

If you asked me a year ago the best podcast for entrepreneurs to listen to I would give you a blank stare. That’s how much I avoided and didn’t acknowledge the podcast community. Mainly, because I can do several things at once but I cannot listen in and multitask. If you know what I mean. I need to pay attention to all the details and take notes, if necessary. Well, with all these podcast you are going to want to pause what you are doing and just listen.

Foundation

This is a podcast by Ken Rose who is a partner at Google Ventures. Foundation podcast is full of amazing guest sharing insight that you would not normally have access to. Very candid and insightful on many different levels. There first show was with Jack, founder of Square and Twitter. Their latest show happens to be with Biz Stone, who also helped found twitter, and now has Jelly and a couple other companies under his belt. We’ll note that the show has only had a handful of women as guest. Subscribe to Foundation podcast.

Dave Ramsey Show

Once again I was super late to the Dave Ramsey club. After several people mentioned him for years, I finally sat down one day to listen to his show live. He does it for 3 hours a day in his studio in Tennessee. The show covers a variety of topics, but the main focus is on creating wealth by getting out of debt. Before listening to Dave I belonged to the trillions of people who accepted it was okay to have debt and I should be charged 5% to use my own money. His advice is never sugar-coated and can be direct. That’s why I love it. He has straightened me out numerous times without actually talking to me. Serial

First, let me say thanks to Tamara of Blitz and Glam for sharing this podcast with me. If you have not heard of the Serial Podcast that has swept the country you must live under a rock. This is not an entrepreneur focused podcast, but if you need to detox from your stressful business life than grab some popcorn put on your Beats by Dre and listen to Sarah tell the story of Adnan and Hae. If you love law shows then this one is for you. The most amazing thing you can take away from this podcast is its “overnight success”! If you build it they will come. I know several people who have NEVER listened to a podcast or ever heard of them and are now telling me about this show. Put in the work creating a solid product and people will hear about it! Chalene Johnson

When you see Chalene she reminds you of the girl next door, in California, but when you dig deeper you learn that she is an American physical fitness authority, choreographer, author, and entrepreneur. I was introduced to her podcast by my friend Amy of CJW Design Company. She shares an abundance of tips and insight about growing your business. Which is very helpful when you are new to a certain platform. I have used her tips and tricks to help gain likes and followers on Instagram. Subscribe to Chalene Johnson Podcast.
