Wow, what a year. As I review 2012, I’m amazed at what my life has become. I want to share some of the highlights.
1. I moved back to Texas.
2. I celebrated three years in business.
3. I went to New York for the first time.
4. I met my amazing twitter friends in real life. I met Angela Simmons for a styling session with her stylish Kanayo,
and saw my Atlanta buddies again.
5. I started living for me.
7. I launched the ICB blog.
8. I redesigned the site. (That made me smile from ear to ear).
9. I bought a DSLR camera (I might be switching to canon).
10. I was able to celebrate my best friend Rocquelle’s Birthday.
11.I watched my friends start to realize their dreams by opening their own businesses.
My year has actually been really great when I think about. I started the year in Atlanta, but I wasnt happy there. God showed me many things in Atlanta, and it made me open my eyes and grow up quickly. As I moved back to Texas things became much more stressful, but still helped me to grow. It showed me that I still have my ups and downs, but I continue to rise. Visiting New York was an AMAZING experience. I stayed with my dear friend Carrie, and it was like a sleepover. I got to see all my Atlanta friends, meet new friends, and eat amazing food. Celebrating 3 years in business is a great milestone. To go along with it, I relaunched my store design and a couple months later my blog launched!
I got to see Rocquelle in Houston for her birthday. We had so much fun! We went to Breakfast Klub, and we also went vintage shopping. Rocquelle launched her business “Clutched & Covered” this year. I’m so excited for her. I have also seen several other friends launch their businesses. It makes me so happy to see friends chase after what matters to them.
2012 was a good year to me. I learned lessons, made new friends, grew my business and learned more about myself. I’m looking forward to 2013 and the blessings and lessons.
How was your 2012? What are you most looking forward to in 2013?
